This is my first cursive writing practice. I really like cursive style. Actually, I am ready for my graduate program in advance. Perhaps, professors will not be going to use cursive in their class, especially in Korea. However, after Master degree, I want to go to university in USA. So, just learn it by myself.
이제 곧 석사과정이 시작될 것으로 예상된다. 원래 생각했던 방향과는 조금 다른 방향이지만, 궁극적인 목표는 더 넓은 세상으로 나아가기 위한 하나의 디딤돌 과정이라 생각하며 잘 해야겠다는 생각이 든다. 그 동안 여기저기서 들어온 정보(?)들이 있어, 걱정이 조금 되기는 한다. ‘내가 과연 무사히 해낼 수 있을까?’에 대한 의문부터 시작해서 별의별 의문점이 생기는 것 같다.
iPad 구입을 염두에 두고 있는 것도 대학원 준비과정 중의 하나이다. 학부과정 때에는 교수님들께서 보통 자료를 ppt, pdf 형태로 많이들 올려주시곤 하셨다. 이런 파일들을 다운받아 학교 근처에 많이 있는 복사집에서 장당 50원씩 여러장들을 인쇄해서 수업시간에 갔었다. 처음에는 ‘종이 몇장이라고 해봐야 무게도 얼마 되지 않으니 잘 간수할 수 있겠네’라는 생각을 가지고 있었는데, 학기가 끝나면 어느새 감당하기 어려울 정도의 분량이 쌓이곤 했다. 그렇게 4년을 보내고 나니, 대학원 과정을 시작하기에 앞서 앞으로의 자료 정리에 대해 다시금 생각해 보게 되었다.
“Paperless”
이 한 단어로 내가 iPad를 통해 이루고자 하는 목표를 표현할 수 있는 것 같다. 대학원과정에서도 수업이 있겠지만, 학부과정과 가장 다른 점은 아마도 논문을 읽고, 이해하여 내 것으로 소화하는 과정이 있는 것이 아닐 까 한다. 많은 대가들의 논문을 읽게 될 것이고, 자료들을 정리해야 할 상황이 오리라고 본다. 처음에는 몇 장으로 구성된 하나의 논문을 읽게 되겠지만, 수십개 수백개의 논문을 읽다보면 앞으로 엄청나게 많은 종이들을 소모하게 된다는 결론에 이르게 된다. 그래서 나는 그것을 iPad 하나로 관리하려 하는 것이다. 요즘은 정말 기술들이 많이 발달하여 클라우드 서비스, 서지관리 프로그램, 필기 프로그램 정도만 이용한다면, 대학원 과정의 자료관리를 수월하게 할 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 가격이 비싼 것은 가슴아픈 일이지만 말이다.
아직은 걱정보다는 설렘이 더 큰 시기이다. 어떤 주제로 내 첫 논문을 써내게 될 것인지, 어떤 실험을 해나가게 될 지, 고민들 자체가 즐거운 시점이다. 생활 자체가 100% 즐거울 거라는 생각은 하지 않지만..
어떤 호주 물리학 박사 과정에 계신 분의 블로그를 보고 찾아본 책인 Mastering your Ph.D. 라는 책을 대학원 과정에 들어가기 전에 다 읽어볼 생각이다. 앞으로 펼쳐질 대학원 생활에 있어 꽤나 도움이 되지 않을까 하는 생각이 든다.
대학원 과정과 관련하여 내가 어떤 커뮤니티 사이트에 올려놓은 글에 달려진 답글이 기억에 많이 남는다. 원문 그대로를 가져오면, 이제 시작도 안했습니다. 현 위기를 돌파 못하시면 유학가셔도 만날 더 힘든 일들에 기겁을 하실 겁니다. 이정도는 아무것 도 아닙니다. 말 그대로다. 이정도는 아무것도 아니다.

This posting has a lot of spoilers of a movie
Captain America: Civil War was just released in Korea firstly. *”Sokovia Accords”, which regulate the heroes including the Avengers, gave rise to complications between the heroes and the governments of the world due to what they did during the missions(ex. New York, Sokovia).
Iron man thought that all superhuman need to be registered in a list of government and controlled because their power would be harmful for other normal citizens, so all superhuman use their power with authorisation of the governments.
However, Captain America did not think that the opinion of Iron man is right because guilty conscience could not disappear if he just signed for the accords. Captain said that all superhuman had a responsibility and felt liability on their own, and any organisation would start for good reason, there are some people who would use it badly on purpose.
In the movie, there are lots of acceptable characters like Scarlet With, Black Widow, Falcon, Antman, etc. Heroes were divided by what they trust.

War Machine was injured and crippled because of battle between heroes.
Captain America was still alive and Winter Soldier was frozen with help of Black Panther.
Captain America knew that Ironman’s parents were killed by Winter Soldier(controlled).

Marge wanted to act in the springfield, so she participated in audition for a drama named a streetcar named desire. When she had audition at first, she was not selected for a role. However, she played blanche, finally. After Simpson family saw the play, all of them except Homer were very proud of Marge due to her passion for the play. Marge was little anxious about that Homer’s feeling looked bad, and she questioned to Homer. Eventually Homer confessed that he did not respect to his wife, Marge.

Springfield elementary school started a vacation. Bart and Lisa made a deal with his father, Homer. If they got C grade on average in their end of semester, they could participate in Krusty camp, however, Bart did not make it. Homer granted his son to take part in the camp, though. In the camp Bart and Lisa expected that they would be happy with Krusty and make a lot of fun, but they could not be happy owing to the camp. Unlike their expectation, there was not Krusty, fun, and joy. Only exploitation existed in the camp. At the end of the camp, children eventually rose up in rebellion against those who have something with the camp. And, Krusty came to meet children and they had very happy time with him.

Finally, this episode is finale of season 1. Sherlock had no cases at the first and then his brother, Mycroft Holmes, wanted him to undertake a case related to national security about missile plan. While Sherlock was bored about that there was not interesting cases to do, his apartment was blown out due to gas and also took a phone from someone. There was voice message and he took a phone call from hostages. It was clue to figure out the case. He didn’t know what a connection exists between victims. During searching the case, he found out that the case is related to a work of art, specifically fake object. But, it was not over. Sherlock sent the message to criminal to show up his figure and Sherlock met the moriarty at the first time. Sherlock was about to die…

This episode starts with kinds of Chinese teapot. I guessed that it must be related with this episode, however it was not true. After the first scene of teapot, Sherlock took a phone call from his friend, and undertook a mystery case that some characters with yellow paint was spread out on the wall. When seeing this at first, I did not realise that why these things are related with this episode. While sherlock took the case, he discovered several dead bodies. He cannot find any other common point between bodies at first. But, he did not miss the point that when he found the bodies, there were always similar yellow characters which he saw before. Through searching evidence, finally he found out that the dead people were smugglers of ancient secret organization, and they had mark on their foot. Yellow characters were some kinds of code that used by smuggler organization, and those meant that the organization wanted something priceless. At the last scene, Sherlock solved the case, and the head of ancient organization ran out of the crime area. But, the head of organization talked to M(perhaps Moriarty) through laptop and M killed her with gunshot.

Drama “Sherlock” is a British-American crime television show made by BBC. This tv show originated from Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
This show consisted of three seasons(three episodes each season) and one special episode until now. Also, this is not over yet. Next season four will be released.
I saw the episode one in first season. Dr. John Watson was discharged from military service, however, he has some kind of mental disease, PTSD(Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). During middle of the episode, he walked with a limp because of this mental problem. He met Sherlock Holmes in this episode, firstly.
As we know, Sherlock had an accurate observation prepared to other people. With this ability, he solved a lot of crimes.
Four murder crimes happened in this episode “A Study in Pink”. Police authority in London cannot find a criminal, and they knew that those cases were suicide at first. They wanted Sherlock to find out clues and close the case. He found out that the case was not suicide, and this was serial killer case.
At the end of the episode, Sherlock met the criminal and knew that even the crime is manipulated by someone who sponsored the criminal. Sherlock finally figured out that Moriarty maneuverd the criminal in the background. Sherlock just started
There are a lot of emotions people feel such as happiness, sadness, and angry. Pixar & Disney showed people how people feel diverse emotions in a curious perspective. In the movie, there are five main characters(or emotions) inside people’s mind. Joy, Anger, Disgust, Sadness, Fear are the emotions of people and always express their feelings through people. For instance, when Riley feels happy by playing hockey with her friends, Joy controls Riley’s feeling. It is really simple. Emotions work when people feel about something.
After seeing this movie, something in my mind rose up. We always meet many people in our life, feel many emotions, and communicate with each other. If we control our emotions well, we would hang out with others better.
I saw the movie Mad max released in 2015. This movie was nominated at Academy award, and won many awards including ”best film editing, best costume design”. I heard about this movie hundreds of times when it was first released to public, however, I had no time to watch it at that time.
Water and oil is indispensable resources because there is not enough those supplies. So, the absolute power came from the water and oil.
Immortan Joe is just that kind of character who dominates his people(specifically looks like slaves) by controlling amount of water and oil. Prepared to other people, he looks like taking all of what he wants and visually weird and grotesque.
Besides, there are lots of Joe’s fanatics “war boys” and they believe that they would go to sanctuary called valhalla, when sacrificing themselves for Immortan Joe. Seeing the scene, I was a little scared. That was just madness entirely.
After watching the movie, I think that the movie deserves many awards. Including actors, costumes, and music, it was really interesting. I did not realise that time passed by.
